It is a blessing to have great friends but they are like the clay within our souls. They must be cultivated regularly with love, warmth and feelings.
I believe spiritual longing is what brings us close to a friend. This desire gets deeper and more beautiful and refined as you get to know them and takes us to a beautiful place in the heart where this longing is fulfilled, deepened and transfigured. Oblivious to time and distance.
You know when two close friends meet there may be no need to talk at all. There is no need to fill the cellar with anything other than the aromas and perfumes being given off from the purity of their pores and in the midst of the stillness and silence, one can hear the beauty of their wards from the silence of their beating heart.
